In December 2022, CD Projekt released a next-gen update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, titled The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition. A Game of the Year edition was released in August 2016, which included the base game, the expansions, and all downloadable content. The game also received two expansions: Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, which added new regions, quests, characters, and features to the game.
The game was originally released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in May 2015, with a Nintendo Switch version released in October 2019.
